   Welcome to the

           T. L. Hanna High School
            Library Media Center !

The mission of the library is to support the curriculum needs of the students and staff of T. L. Hanna High School and to encourage lifelong learning.

T. L. Hanna Library Media Center houses over 17,000 volumes of books. We subscribe to 60 current magazines and newspapers, 1,000 titles of educational videos, cassettes, records, CD-ROM reference materials, and vertical files. We also have audiovisual and computer equipment. TLH Library has 16 computers for students' use. Library catalogs, Internet, and many electronic programs can be retrieved from our computers, and networked with other computers in the classrooms, offices, and labs throughout the school. Our web-based online public access catalog (OPAC) and many online subscription services can also provide print and nonprint information to students and teachers at remote locations.

Students may check out books for 2 weeks. Vertical file materials, magazines, newspapers, reference books, and audiovisual materials are for library use only. Students must have an Internet Acceptable Use Policy, signed by parents every year, before using the Internet.

T. L. Hanna Library Media Center is staffed with two media specialists, Mrs. Nancy Griese and Ms. Helen Bailey.

The library is open from 7:40 AM until 4:00 PM on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, and from 7:40 AM until 3:40 PM on Tuesday and Friday.
